By the end of last week work had me terribly overstressed. Going out on a shoot with Charlie Baltimore was like a breathe of fresh air. Though it was still a bit chilly out for springtime. She was a trooper and we got a lot of great shots.

I never made it down to the Tidal Basin to shoot the Cherry Blossoms this year. I was greatly disappointed. But there are many cherry trees near the shop. So after work I stopped to shoot them before they were gone.

It has taken a lot of time for me to wrap my head around treating a photo as I would other art projects in photoshop. Tonight I decided to revisit some older photos and reprocess them with some of my new techniques. I am very happy with their outcome. This is my favorite of the batch. It was actually taken on an overly sunny day…

Played with Sculpey for the first time today. I made a pair of horns to use as a prop. They came out decently for a first time. I by no means want them to look pretty so that made it a lot easier. I am going to go buy more supplies after work tomorrow.

Inspired by my rubber duckie shots, I have decided to find more little novelty props. I picked this little guy up today with a few other friends.

I bought these rubber ducks about a year ago thinking they would make great props. Saturday proved to be the perfect day for their debut. I am sure you will see more them in the future.

Finally new art. It has been many months since my last piece of this type. I set tonight aside to organize some files and create. I am pretty happy with this but I am not sure that it is finished.

There has been a lot of talk about this cemetery. I have wanted to visit it for a while, but many had suggested that it was so neglected that walking it was dangerous. This site looked post apocalyptic. I wanted to take more shots here but the terrain is still quite difficult to navigate. I nearly lost my shoes numerous times in the mud. I also feared stepping into a hidden sink hole. Restoration has begun at this cemetery but it will be a long process.
