Also in the travels of Ellicott City last weekend, we found this amazingly restored family cemetery. It sits on St Johns Lane in the middle of a very residential road. There is a small sign that lets you know what is hiding in the trees.
This cemetery was established in 1833 and restoration began in the 1980s. It has been turned into a beautiful garden and park. There is even a small ampitheatre with wooden benches built by the boy scouts.
This is a must see for anyone that has an appreciation for those that time has forgotten.
